Petite Cloisonné Floral Egg with Brass Base

A 3-inch cloisonné egg with white enamel ground, gilt cloud motif, and a lavender blossom with green leaves traced in fine metal wire. The visible metal lines are structural — the framework holding each field of color beneath the enamel. Rests on a simple brass base.
